Wetaskiwin Co-op and Country Junction Feeds is now accepting applications for the full-time permanent position of Maintenance Millwright Personnel out of our Country Junction Feeds Wetaskiwin facility, located at 4707 40th Ave in Wetaskiwin, Alberta. This hands-on role will provide support to our maintenance and production operations and is critical to keeping our equipment running safely and efficiently. What you’ll do:
Reporting to the Maintenance Foreman, the of Maintenance Millwright Personnel is a self-motivated individual who has strong attention to detail. Duties will include but are not limited to:
• Install, inspect, test, troubleshoot, alter, replace and/or repair various systems and related equipment.
• Performing a variety of day-to-day maintenance tasks including electrical services, light carpentry, plumbing, painting, and greasing.
• Perform and implement regular preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
• Participate in working On-Call.
• Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
• Follow all company safety and housekeeping standards, policies, and procedures, and complying with all regulatory requirements. Notifying management of any safety concerns.
• Knowledge of building systems, feed mill operations, industrial and production operations will be considered an asset.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Production, Trades and Maintenance and:
• You are dependable and detail oriented.
• You have the ability to work safely at heights and in dusty, noisy, or hot environments.
• You are able to lift 50–75 lbs, work on your feet for extended periods, and climb ladders/stairs.
• You hold a Red Seal or Journeyman Millwright Certification, and/or have experience working through an Apprentice program.
• You posses a strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, welders, and cutting equipment.
• You have the ability to work in a team atmosphere with minimal supervision.
• You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
• 2+ years of experience as a Millwright, Maintenance Mechanic, or similar role in a feed mill, grain handling, or agricultural processing facility is considered an asset.
