Wetaskiwin Co-op is now accepting applications for the full-time permanent position of Feed Administration Clerk in Wetaskiwin, Alberta. Reporting to the Feed Division Manager, the successful candidate will primarily perform administrative duties, as well as support a variety of feed departments, locations, and initiatives.
What you’ll do:
As the Feed Administration Clerk, you will be responsible for assisting with the overall operation of the Country Junction Feed’s office through daily administrative tasks. You will be the first point of contact for agriculture members and customers and will redirect inquiries to the appropriate resource or manager when needed. The Feed Administration Clerk is a critical part of the team, and will:
• Ensure the efficient day-to-day operations of the customer experience by providing excellent customer service in person, electronically, and in telephone conversations.
• Maintain accurate records for feed production, quality control, and batch tracking.
• Assist with inventory tracking and reconciliation of feed ingredients and finished product.
• Data entry and filing, including auditing sales data for accuracy and identifying discrepancies.
• Cooperation with and collaboration among our feed division team members and leaders, including administration, nutrition, transportation, maintenance, production, procurement and sales.
• Following safety and housekeeping standards, policies, and procedures, and complying with all regulatory requirements.
Who you are:
• Detail-orientated team player capable of working independently is essential to the role.
• Ability to organize and effectively prioritize tasks respectful of deadlines, with an ability to work under pressure and work with integrity and confidentiality.
• You have administration and/or administrative duties experience.
• You have demonstrated proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications.
• You maintain positive working relationship with co-workers and provide excellent customer service.
• You believe in collaboration, building relationships and value the perspectives of colleagues, suppliers and customers.
• Agriculture and Feed related backgrounds are considered an asset.
